Phase one consists of
classroom instruction as well as multiple confined water training
sessions. Learn the basics of SCUBA in our modern classrooms and
then practice various skills in the indoor, heated pool.
For your
convenience we offer two formats for completing Phase One:

One weekend: (Friday evening 6:30 – 10:00
pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
OR
Four Weeknights: (Mondays & Wednesdays 6:30 –
10:00 pm)
Cost for Phase One:

Included in the cost:
--All educational materials (Open Water
Manual, DVD, logbook, and underwater slate)
--Scuba Equipment (BCD, regulator, gauges, weights, tanks, and
air fills)
*note: mask, fins, and snorkel are not included
What you should bring:
--Swim suit and towel
--Mask, fins, and snorkel (May be purchased in packages
starting at $175)
--A completed
medical
questionnaire (plus a
medical release if required)

Where the adventure begins…
Peachtree Dive Center certifies all new divers through the PADI Open
Water Diver Course, which is conducted in two phases:
Phase One
Phase Two
Phase two consists of four open water training
dives that are required to complete your Open Water Diver
Certification. Phase two MUST occur within twelve months of
completing Phase One (beyond six months requires additional
training). Phase two may be completed on any of the scheduled
Peachtree Dive Center trips. Find a list of all of the scheduled
2011 dive trips in the
Dive Travel section
of the website. If you choose to complete Phase Two with another
Training Center there will be a $35 referral fee.

Included in the cost:
--All diving fees and certification fees
--Hotel accommodations (except to White Stone) – based on
double occupancy
--Rental Equipment (BCD, regulator, gauges, weights, tanks, and air
fills)
*note: Transportation of all equipment is the responsibility of the
student diver.
Not included in the cost:
--Transportation
--Meals
--Personal equipment (mask, fins, and snorkel)
